What restrictions has Lithuania introduced?

As previously reported by the Governor of the Kaliningrad region of Russia, Anton Alikhanov, Lithuania notified the cessation of transit to the region from June 18 of goods from the Russian Federation included in the list of anti-Russian sanctions of the European Union.

Alikhanov also published a notice from Lithuanian Railways for customers.

The document did not specify anything about road freight transportation, but today information appeared in the media with reference to truck drivers that they are not allowed to pass through Lithuania.

Restrictions on sanctioned goods for transit through Lithuania to Kaliningrad also apply to trucks, – said Lyskov.
