44views

Official London has developed a plan that could help provide Ukraine with even more British long-range Storm Shadow missiles.

To do this, Great Britain sent an offer to Germany with a request to sell it German long-range Taurus missiles.

The German publication Handelsblatt learned about this interesting option for politicians from the United Kingdom.

This media outlet called the British idea “a way out of the deadlock discussion” regarding the supply of long-range, high-precision weapons to Kyiv, MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

The idea is this: if Berlin exports Taurus cruise missiles to Foggy Albion, London gets freedom of action to additionally supply Kyiv with its Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

Citing diplomats and government officials, Handelsblatt writes that Britain approached Germany with such a proposal several weeks ago.

Currently, London’s initiative is being considered by the top German leadership, the publication notes.

Earlier, the Pentagon said that already this year the West could supply F-16 fighters to Ukraine.
