French President Emmanuel Macron justified himself to Czech journalists for his statement about sending troops to Ukraine.

The politician did not refute the earlier statement, but only clarified that in the near future the French military would not be sent to Independence.

Before his visit to Prague, French President Macron gave an interview to Czech journalists from the Novinky and Právo publications.

Obviously, there were questions about the Ukrainian conflict and loud statements made last week.

Talking to Czech journalists, the French journalist emphasized that he had something else in mind.

I said that nothing is excluded <...> This does not mean that we are considering the possibility of sending French troops in the near future, but we are opening the debate and thinking about everything that can be done to support Ukraine, first of all (directly. – Note ed.) on Ukrainian territory,” MIA quotes the statement of the French leader.

Almost immediately after Macron’s statements, the head of the French Foreign Ministry commented on the situation.

Stefan Sejournet said that the French will not go to die for Ukraine.

Earlier it became known how many EU citizens have been without visas since the beginning of the year.
