0views

The German publication Spiegel reports that US and German intelligence agencies are faced with the problem of leaking employee data.

This was due to the use of software called Virus Total, produced by Alphabet.

It is noted that this organization is also the owner of the Google search engine.

It is noted that the data of 5,600 names of employees of various government organizations that work in the field of security and other areas were leaked into the network.

These employees were registered on the Virus-Total IT security platform.

The data of employees of such departments as the US Cyber Command, the Department of Justice and the FBI was also extracted.

In Germany, some departments became victims of incorrect operation of the program, but the damage can hardly be called colossal.

It is noted that the names of workers and their email addresses were extracted.

The Federal Office for Information Security confirmed the leak to the German publication.
