They note that the German Federal Intelligence Service was involved in wiretapping negotiations between Yevgeny Prigozhin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

RIA Novosti that last week the publication Spiegel, citing its sources, reported the initiation of an internal audit in the BND.

This check was carried out due to ignorance of the attempted armed rebellion in the Russian Federation.

The BND was allegedly criticized for not having sufficient information about the situation in the Russian Federation.

Broadcasting company ARD says that the BND actually had information about the June 24 incident.

This organization also reports that German intelligence could monitor the negotiations of the parties.

It is noted that the BND knew that the Belarusian leader would act as a mediator.
