On Monday, July 18, it became known that the first Polish self-propelled howitzer, Krab, was destroyed in Ukraine.
Judging by media reports, the self-propelled gun was destroyed during the fighting in Donbass.
According to preliminary data, the crew of the car was not injured.
The relevant information was distributed by the portal onet.pl, citing Ukrainian sources, – TASS.
The Russian agency notes that in May Warsaw announced plans to supply 18 “crabs” for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As of this month, as far as we know, ten such howitzers have arrived in Ukraine.
And in Poland, about a hundred Ukrainian military personnel were trained in the operation of these self-propelled guns – control and shooting.
The Krab self-propelled gun is a 155mm self-propelled howitzer mass-produced by the Polish military company Huta Stalowa Wola.
According to the media, the “crabs” are the main striking force of the Polish artillery.
