43views

In neighboring Poland, the first case of human infection with monkeypox has been officially confirmed.

The head of the country’s Ministry of Health, Adam Niedzielski, announced this at a press conference.

Let us remember that at the end of May, British doctors published the first recommendations to prevent the spread of this virus.

For example, citizens are advised to isolate themselves until the rash goes away. And also – refuse sexual intercourse.

By the way, Foggy Albion has the most cases of monkeypox infection among European countries.

And not so long ago, WHO experts made a disappointing statement. In their opinion, a person can catch monkeypox again.

We had about ten suspected cases of monkeypox and samples are being examined. June 10 is the day when we have our first case, – the Polish minister of MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

According to the press secretary of the Ministry of Health Wojciech Andrusiewicz, the patient with monkeypox is now isolated and is in the hospital.

This is all that is known about the patient. The ministry did not provide details, nor did they name the medical facility where he is staying.
