The Polish Prime Minister made this statement on November 29 at a press conference.

Why Poland won’t give Ukraine Patriot systems.

When asked by journalists whether Warsaw is considering the possibility of transferring Patriot systems to Ukraine, Morawiecki answered negatively.

Patriot systems will definitely serve to protect the Polish sky, since these are only the first batteries that arrive to us, said the head of the Polish government.

He recalled that Germany and other allies already have Patriot systems.

Now it is rather the Polish sky that is under threat, rather than the German one, – Morawiecki noted.

The Polish prime minister is in favor of deploying German Patriot systems in Western Ukraine, which Germany offered to Poland after the missile incident in Przewoduwa.
