0views

A catastrophic flood occurred in the southwestern part of Germany.

The cause of the disaster was heavy rainfall. Rivers overflowed their banks, after which some settlements were flooded.

The incident led to numerous casualties: the death toll exceeded 130.

In addition, many people have gone missing, foreign media reported.

There is currently no information about the whereabouts of more than 1,300 people living in the disaster area.

It is possible that the number of victims of the tragedy and missing persons may increase.

The water washed away vehicles and even residential buildings: hundreds of buildings were turned into ruins.

Local authorities are doing everything necessary to ensure that city residents can return to normal life as soon as possible.

Not only emergency services and rescue workers, but also military personnel are taking part in the special operation.

Floods did not only occur in Germany. Floods also occurred in Belgium. There are also deaths in this country: at least 20 people.

A dangerous situation is also observed in the Netherlands and Switzerland.
