The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, assessed the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the start of Russia’s special military operation.
According to her, we are talking about a very impressive number – more than one hundred thousand people.
And earlier, former Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos said something approximately similar.
In September, he stated that since February 24, 2022 (the day the Russian special operation began), Kyiv’s irretrievable losses amounted to hundreds of thousands of military personnel.
