Poland was shaken. There was an earthquake. As a result of the disaster, more than 60 people were trapped under the rubble in the Rydultowy mine (Silesian Voivodeship).
The representative of the mining company Polska Grupa Gurnicza, Alexandra Wysocka-Sembiga, told TVP Info about this.
According to her, a strong underground shock at a depth of 1,200 meters occurred on July 11 at about eight in the morning (about 09:00 Belarusian time).
A company employee has information that 68 miners are under the rubble.
Rescue operations are currently being carried out there, – TASS agency.
According to Vysotskaya-Sembiga, 15 people had been brought to the surface by this time.
Ten of them were sent to hospitals. Doctors assess the condition of the victims as stable.
