Moscow has agreed to the appointment of Lynn Tracy, who currently holds the post of American Ambassador to Armenia, as the new US Ambassador to Russia.

Let us recall that on September 20, US President Joseph Biden announced his intention to appoint Lynn Tracy, currently serving as Ambassador to Armenia, as Ambassador to Russia.
As Ryabkov said, Washington requested an agreman for Tracy some time ago.
We gave Agreman, – said the Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Answering the question whether Moscow expects the dialogue with Washington to intensify with the appointment of a new ambassador, the deputy minister noted that it is necessary to wait for Tracy’s candidacy to be approved by the Senate.
