Last Sunday, December 18, the NASA space agency (USA) published an interesting image.
This is a “space” photo. Made off planet. Actually, the Earth is depicted on it.
What can be called interesting and to some extent unusual is that the photo shows Ukraine left without light.
We are talking about the events of December 16, when the Russian Federation launched missile strikes on the energy and military infrastructure of the country, like the Rossiya Segodnya news agency.
And the photo, judging by the available data, was taken on December 17. It shows that Ukraine is plunged into complete darkness, while in the territories of neighboring countries spots from the light of cities are noticeable.
The news agency also notes the fact that compared to November, there are fewer luminous objects in Ukraine.
By the way, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that on Friday, December 16, the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive strike with long-range precision weapons on Ukrainian targets.
The agency reported that the targets were military command and control systems, enterprises of the military-industrial complex and the energy facilities that support them.
