National Interest named the condition under which Ukraine will become a “stump state”

The American magazine National Interest published an article by Ilya Timchenko, which describes the unenviable future of Ukraine.

According to the author, the Russian special operation will lead to a sad end for Kyiv if Ukraine loses access to the Black Sea.

This will be a catastrophic blow for the state,” the journalist notes.

And if such a scenario is realized, then, as Timchenko thinks, Ukraine will turn into a “stump state.”

Losing access to the Black Sea will cause a catastrophic economic and military blow to Ukraine and make it a stump state without access to the sea, – observer of MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

Timchenko believes that Kyiv faces the problem of exporting its own products.

In addition, he does not exclude the possibility that Ukraine will lose control of the pipeline through which gas is transported to Romania.

If Russia receives this branch of the gas pipeline, the Kremlin will win another strategic victory, says the author of the publication.
