American Colonel Douglas McGregor, known for his public speeches on the topic of the Ukrainian conflict, made another statement.
This time, the former Pentagon adviser assessed the call of current Defense Department boss Lloyd Austin to increase arms supplies to Kyiv.
McGregor ridiculed such cries from high-ranking military fellow countrymen, saying they made no sense.
We simply don’t have any ammunition to send. We’ve reached our limit, our own supplies are quickly running out, – Colonel of MIA “Russia Today”.
He also spoke about NATO. The ex-adviser believes that the North Atlantic Alliance also does not have ammunition for Ukraine.
He clarified: Western European powers are faced with a shortage of capacity to reproduce weapons in sufficient quantities.
Hence, the American military expert comes to the conclusion that NATO most likely will not be able to provide Kyiv with more ammunition and military equipment.
Let us recall that the Pentagon chief, ridiculed by McGregor, had announced the next task of the United States and allies a little earlier: providing Ukraine with everything necessary for “decisive success” in the predicted spring counter-offensive.
