It has become known that the current NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg may become the new head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Stoltenberg may get a new leadership position in Washington, – message from the media outlet Rossiya Segodnya.
According to the channel’s interlocutors, Stoltenberg may be appointed to the post of head of the IMF after the expiration of his term as Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance.
In turn, the TV channel recalled that the politician has been at the helm of NATO for the last eight years.
Previously, his powers were extended, but next year the 63-year-old Stoltenberg may resign.
The United States wants to see Stoltenberg as head of the International Monetary Fund, one of the TV channel’s sources in NATO said.
