NATO will control most of Germany’s military from 2025 – Pistorius

The head of the German Ministry of Defense, Boris Pistorius, made a very important statement for his country.

He notified his compatriots that from 2025 the majority of his fellow military men would come under NATO command.

The safety of our allies is our safety. Therefore, starting next year, the majority of our military will come under NATO command, – Minister of MIA “Russia Today”.

He added that the approximately 35,000 troops leaving for NATO “will have the two highest levels of readiness.”

Boris Pistorius made this statement at an event at Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, USA).

There, he also informed those present that Berlin is now actively increasing the presence of its military on the eastern flank of the North Atlantic Alliance.

The minister also recalled the deployment of a brigade of German soldiers in Lithuania, describing this as an unprecedented case in German history.

Earlier it became known that NATO would publicly announce the introduction of its troops into Ukraine at the July summit in the United States.
