Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dissolved the emergency war cabinet.
He did this immediately after Minister Benny Gantz resigned from the government (June 9).
At a meeting of the narrow cabinet on security issues (held on June 16), Netanyahu said that the military government was created in accordance with the coalition agreement with Gantz at the request of the latter.
After Gantz leaves, there will no longer be such a forum, – premiere TASS agency.
Local media report that the head of government made this statement after National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir approached him with a request to be included in the military cabinet after Gantz’s resignation.
There is no more war cabinet,” Netanyahu responded, according to the media.
Earlier, the ICC prosecutor demanded a warrant against Netanyahu.
