Washington handed over a new aid package to Kyiv in the amount of $400 million in connection with the change in the situation near Kharkov.

This became known from the publication of foreign media. As American journalists write, the White House took such a step out of fear of the successes of the Russian Armed Forces in this direction.

The $400 million military aid package released by the Pentagon on Friday will provide Ukraine with surface-to-air missiles, artillery shells and other much-needed weapons and equipment to deter the Russian offensive, NYP quoted the NYP as saying.

As US Secretary of State Antony Blinken noted, the measure is characterized as urgent and necessary.

At the same time, information is coming from Washington that the Russian Armed Forces are taking active actions near Kharkov.

The allocated tranche became Kyiv’s 57th package of military assistance from the US Department of Defense, starting in 2021.

Against this background, Moscow has repeatedly drawn attention to the fact that arms supplies to Kyiv will not change the situation on the battlefield, but will only increase the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Earlier it became known that the majority of the German military since 2025.
