Nikol Pashinyan’s party won early elections to the Armenian parliament

The party of acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan won the early elections to the Armenian parliament.

In the new parliament, “Civil Contract” will receive 71 parliamentary mandates.

This is followed by the “Armenia” bloc of ex-president Robert Kocharyan (29), the “I have the honor” bloc of another former head of state Serzh Sargsyan and the ex-head of the National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan (7).

The TASS agency reported this with reference to data released on June 27 by the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Armenia Tigran Mukuchyan.

Earlier, the Central Election Commission published the final results of the early parliamentary elections in Armenia.

According to these data, the Civil Contract party won, gaining 53.91% of the votes.

The parliament also included the second and third place bloc “Armenia” (21.9%) and the bloc “I Have the Honor” (5.22%).
