Nine Ukrainian reservists surrendered near Severodonetsk

It became known that near the city of Severodonetsk (Lugansk region), nine reservists of the Ukrainian Armed Forces surrendered to the Russian military.

They laid down their arms and offered no resistance.

The event happened near the village of Sirotino, which is located in the suburbs of Severodonetsk, – MIA “Russia Today”.

The prisoners said that they were mobilized in May to military unit No. 3035, which until 2014 was stationed in Lugansk, and then in Kharkov.

According to the publication, among those who surrendered, three were from Severodonetsk and Rubezhne, residents of Lvov, Ternopil, Vinnitsa and the Kharkov region.

Also among them was one military man serving under contract.

The Russian news agency also reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently “suffering critical losses” in Severodonetsk and are retreating in the direction of Lisichansk.

And in the village of Svyatogorsk located to the west, the Ukrainian army lost control over most of the city.

Let us remind you that martial law is currently in effect in Ukraine, and general mobilization has been declared in the country.
