The launch was recorded by the South Korean military on May 7 at 14:07 (08:07 Belarusian time).

North Korea launched a short-range ballistic missile from the sea near the port of Sinpo towards the Sea of ​​Japan, – MIA Rossiya Segodnya, citing a statement by the Joint Committee.

Currently, the South Korean military, together with American intelligence, is analyzing data on maximum altitude and flight range.

South Korea’s military “remains prepared and is monitoring North Korean actions in the event of additional launches,” it said.

Let us add that the current launch was the 15th test of weapons by North Korea this year.

The last time Pyongyang fired a projectile towards the Sea of ​​Japan was on May 4. The DPRK did not give official comments on this matter.
