3views

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea launched a projectile towards the Sea of Japan.

Experts suggest that a ballistic missile was tested.

The shell fell at a fairly large distance from Japanese territorial waters.

Moreover, the missile did not even end up in the exclusive economic zone of this country, foreign media reported.

Some time later, North Korea launched another projectile.

Despite the fact that the missile launch did not lead to any serious consequences, the authorities of the Land of the Rising Sun expressed protest over the incident.

In addition, one of the representatives of the Japanese Foreign Ministry met with Song Kim, the US Special Representative for the DPRK.

The head of the Japanese government, Yoshihide Suga, also responded to the incident. He gave instructions to convene the National Security Council.

The Japanese Prime Minister demanded that everything be done to investigate what happened and ensure safety.

Suga emphasized that all measures will be taken jointly with the United States and the Republic of Korea.
