North Korea threatens to hit US aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan

7views

The DPRK authorities have threatened to strike at the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier of the US Navy Ronald Reagan and more.

The visit of the US military to the South Korean naval base in Busan in the DPRK is seen as an attempt to attack North Korea.

The sending of US strategic assets to the Korean Peninsula indicates Washington’s systematic attempts to start a nuclear war with North Korea, writes MIA “” with reference to a message from the state-owned Central Telegraph Agency of the DPRK.

The continuous transfer of various nuclear strategic weapons by the United States to the Korean Peninsula, where there is a constant possibility of a military clash and the clouds of a possible outbreak of nuclear war are gathering, is an open military provocation that leads the situation to an irreversible catastrophic state, the statement said.

The official statement also noted that the DPRK’s promulgated nuclear doctrine “allows for the necessary procedures to be followed in the event of a nuclear attack occurring or imminent.”

For its part, the DPRK leadership declares its intention to suppress and repel “reckless attempts by the United States and its henchmen to start a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula.”

In the current situation, as stated in the KCNA statement, even “one bullet or one shell” can cause a nuclear confrontation.

Our most powerful and immediate first strike will be against even major US bases on and around the Korean Peninsula, not to mention the “extended deterrence” capabilities, KCNA said in a statement.
