Norway will help Ukraine by allocating another $630 million for it

Recently it became known about the intention of the Norwegian government to allocate additional financial resources for Ukraine this year.

We are talking about assistance in the amount of 7 billion crowns, which corresponds (at current exchange rates) to 632 million dollars.

This money will be allocated from the kingdom’s budget,” said Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

The situation in Ukraine has become more serious and more unpredictable, – head of government TASS agency.

Of the allocated amount, 6 billion crowns (about $540 million) will be used to provide military assistance to Kyiv, the prime minister noted.

The remainder of the amount will be used to finance civil and humanitarian programs.

Taking into account the new assistance from Norway, its total volume for 2024 reached 22 billion kroner ($1.98 billion).
