The New York Times writes that American mercenaries injured in Ukraine are being treated in a German Pentagon hospital.

According to journalists, American authorities secretly began treating mercenaries evacuated from the combat zone in Ukraine.

This was reported by MIA “” with reference to the publication of Dave Philipps and Eric Schmit in the New York Times.

The US military has quietly begun treating wounded Americans and other soldiers evacuated from Ukraine at its regional Landstuhl Medical Center, the publication said.

Journalists write about mercenaries who received gunshot wounds, wounds from artillery shelling and other types of injuries.

Now, Phillips and Schmitt clarify, the Pentagon provides mercenaries with the same assistance as it does to American active-duty troops.

It became known for certain that 14 Americans were hospitalized.

As previously reported by the media, foreign mercenaries in Ukraine have repeatedly complained that there is no coherence in actions between them and the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Comparing the combat experience gained in Afghanistan and the countries of the Middle East, mercenaries complain that even with these skills, the chances of surviving the battles in Ukraine are not great.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Kyiv uses foreign fighters as “cannon fodder.”
