US President Joseph Biden fears that ATACMS missiles will not help Ukraine resist Russia.

The American edition of The New York Times reports this.

What Biden fears

According to the NYT, the US President is concerned about the problems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front.

In particular, Biden fears that ATACMS missiles will not be of much help to the Ukrainian army.

Because the Russians are positioning their aircraft beyond the range of these weaponsexplains the publication.

According to the NYT, the American leader is also alarmed by the fact that a number of countries supporting Ukraine have begun to show skepticism.

Now the head of the White House, the publication notes, is trying to contain dissatisfaction with the course of hostilities in Ukraine, which arose due to the feeling that multibillion-dollar American aid was wasted.

And that even with the help of supplied weapons and provided intelligence it was not possible to overcome the powerful resistance of the well-entrenched Russian army, – stated in the publication.

In mid-October, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the transfer of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine creates an additional threat, but will not fundamentally change the situation on the line of combat contact.
