Two SH60K patrol helicopters from the country’s Maritime Self-Defense Force crashed in Japan.

He added: During the search operation, a flight recorder and parts of the helicopters were discovered.

It is known that these aircraft participated in training patrols – they were located near the island of Izu (about 600 kilometers south of Tokyo).

According to local media, there were four crew members on board each of the helicopters.

According to meteorologists, weather conditions in the area were good at the time of the crash.
