The Polish authorities are preparing a statement to the prosecutor’s office in connection with the theft of money for an anti-Russian information campaign.

This was reported by the Polish publication Onet.

How money for the anti-Russian campaign was stolen in Poland

According to Onet, about 23 million zlotys ($5.8 million at the current exchange rate) spent by the office of the Prime Minister of Poland on the anti-Russian campaign StopRussiaNow ended up through the Bank of National Economy into the pockets of the “golden boys” of the Law and Justice party: Radoslaw Tadajewski , an employee of the office of President Andrzej Duda Piotr Palka and friends of ex-adviser to former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki Mariusz Chlopik.

The StopRussiaNow campaign was launched while PiS was in power in 2022.

One of the main goals of the campaign was to persuade Warsaw’s partners in the European Union and the authorities of other countries to introduce ever new sanctions against Russia and to convince Western countries of the need to provide military and other assistance to Ukraine.

Much of the funds spent on the campaign may have been misappropriated, – writes.

According to the publication, the country’s Supreme Control Chamber is preparing a statement to the prosecutor’s office.

It is noted that the little-known agency Tak Bardzo Group, headed by Polina Palka, the wife of the aforementioned Piotr Palka, former deputy head of Polish Television and an employee of the presidential chancellery, was chosen to conduct the campaign without a tender.

Also, the companies Ixodes and 1450, associated with the government of PiS, received orders as part of the campaign.

Earlier it was reported that Poland would spend $375 million to strengthen the fence on the border with Belarus.
