The former Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Army, General Jiří Šedivý, criticized the German Leopard tanks supplied to Ukraine.
According to him, these combat vehicles are clearly overrated and are certainly not a “miracle weapon.”
In this regard, in an interview with Czdefence magazine, he recalled the sad fate of “leopards” in another country.
The Turks used Leopards in operations in Syria against the Islamic State* and lost at least ten units in just a few operations, – a high-ranking military MIA “Russia Today”.
The general also criticized Western politicians, who, in his opinion, have virtually no idea about the real state of affairs in Ukraine.
He spoke sharply from Jiří Šediva about the military and political leadership of Kyiv, whose statements he considers untrue.
In particular, he talks about statements regarding the alleged absence of losses and victories in the confrontation with the Russian military.
The former chief of the General Staff also mentioned in his speech that the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, spoke critically about the situation in Ukraine.
