Experts from the Federal Police (PF) point out that there is strong evidence that the signature attributed to a doctor in the report published by Pablo Marçal (PRTB) that associated his opponent in the elections Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) with the use of cocaine is false.
A CNN had access to the PF report. According to the document, experts identified differences between the doctor’s signature on the fake report and the one he used throughout his life. The result suggests that the signatures were not made by the same person.
The experts used documents signed by doctor José Roberto de Souza in different years to make the comparison. They did the so-called “graphoscopic examination”.
“The prevalence of dissimilarities between the questioned signature and the patterns presented was verified, both in the graphic forms and in their genesis, with no evidence that such graphics were written by the same person”, says an excerpt from the conclusion of the expertise .
“In this way, it was concluded that the findings identified during the examinations of the signature present on the document were considered sufficient to conclude at level V of the scale presented in subsection III.1.4: V – The evidence strongly supports the hypothesis that the questioned manuscripts did not they were produced by the same person who provided the standards.”

According to the document from the São Paulo corporation, “the image of the signature in the name of the doctor “JOSÉ ROBERTO DE SOUZA”, published on the prescription sheet subject to examination, described in the chapter “Examination Piece”, is FALSE, since such signature does not present the same characteristics graphics of the specimens observed in the documents described in the chapter “Confrontation Patterns”.
The conclusion was that these were different signatures.
“The Experts established the statement made in view of the discrepancies in the records observed between the contested firm and the models produced by JOSÉ ROBERTO DE SOUZA, disagreements that cover both the quality of the layout and the technical elements of a general order and of a morphogenetic nature”, the document states.
The report also says that “Regarding the quality of the tracing, the main divergence lies in the speed of execution of the questioned signature, whose development is slower than the model offered”.

Marçal published on Friday night (4), on his social networks, a medical prescription in which it was said that Boulos, on January 19, 2021, had been treated at the Mais Consulta medical clinic, in the Jabaquara neighborhood, in south of São Paulo, with “a severe psychotic episode, persecutory delirium and homicidal ideas”.
The post in which candidate Marçal accused Boulos of using cocaine was taken down by Instagram on Friday. The publication was available for around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
According to Boulos, the owner of the clinic, Luiz Teixeira, was a supporter of Marçal and had falsified the document. The PSOL candidate stated that, the day after what appears in the medical record, he was in the Community of Vietnam, in the south, “distributing basic food baskets”.
