The Federal Police are due to hear this Tuesday (10) one of the victims of the alleged harassment carried out by former Minister of Human Rights Silvio Almeida, dismissed last Friday (6).
The name was not given to protect the woman’s privacy.
The content of the hearing must be forwarded to the Federal Supreme Court (STF) for the initiation of an investigation and possible measures.
It will be up to the Supreme Court to decide whether the case will be processed there or will be referred to the first instance, given that the harassment took place while Silvio Almeida was a minister.
The PF also wants to hear from the former minister this month. He denies the accusations and has prepared a set of documents to try to prove that he is innocent.
Next week, Silvio Almeida must present his defense to the Ethics Commission of the Presidency of the Republic.
Among the victims of harassment would be the Minister of Racial Equality, Anielle Franco.
