Pistorius upset Ukraine by saying that Germany would not go all-in for it

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius upset Ukraine by saying that his country would not go all-in for Kyiv.

He explained: in this case we are talking about the supply of German weapons.

The head of the department justified this position of Berlin by the fact that Germany needs to think about its own security.

We cannot go all in, as some demand, otherwise we ourselves will be defenseless, – Pistorius agency TASS.

As for another request from Ukraine – for the transfer of German long-range Taurus missiles – he noted: when making decisions on supplies, Berlin weighs what impact they can have or how they will change the role of Germany in the conflict.

It is for this reason that providing Taurus to Kyiv until now “was not an option,” the minister explained.

And he added: not a single ally of Ukraine “supplies it with anything like this.”

Previously, the Bundestag was against the transfer of Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
