Poland demanded that German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz explain his statement about the revision of borders.
This demand was voiced by the head of the Polish National Security Bureau, Pavel Soloch, on Polish television.
What Scholz said
Let us recall that last week the German Chancellor hinted at a revision of the borders with Poland after Warsaw’s demands for reparations.
Scholz said he didn’t want anyone to “rummage through the history books to make revisionist boundary changes.”
How Warsaw reacted
The head of the Polish National Security Bureau said Scholz must explain his statement in detail in order to regain trust.
Otherwise, according to Solokh, Warsaw has the right to consider this a signal of “if not a threat, then a demonstration.”
