Poland deployed two military brigades to the border with Belarus

Poland redeployed two military brigades to the eastern border of the Republic of Belarus due to the arrival of the Wagner Group forces in the Republic of Belarus.

This message was conveyed by the Minister of National Defense of Poland, Mariusz Blaszczak.

“We understand the level of threat that has emerged in the east. We know that the Wagner group is in the Republic of Belarus”– RIA Novosti Blaschak.

The Polish minister notes that in connection with the arrival of military PMCs in Belarus, the Ministry of Defense decided to redeploy some military units along with Western equipment.

Blaszczak clarified that the 12th and 17th brigades were sent to the border areas.

At the moment, the incident with the rebellion of the Wagner PMC has been resolved partly thanks to the actions of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who held negotiations with Prigozhin.

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov noted that Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the management of the Wagner group.
