Poland explained why Duda canceled the meeting with Zelensky

15views

Polish President Andrzej Duda canceled a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky – this message was conveyed at the UN General Assembly.

A change in schedule was given as the reason for canceling the negotiations.

Information from the publication RP.pl – initially the meeting was supposed to take place during the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.

But the Polish president noted that the schedule of other meetings had been changed, which was the reason for the cancellation of negotiations between the two leaders.

The Polish publication writes that the meeting between Duda and Zelensky was considered important, since at the moment there is some tension between the two countries.

The reason for the tension was the introduction of a ban on the transportation of Ukrainian grain to Poland.

On September 15, the European Commission decided not to extend the restriction on the import of four types of agricultural products that were previously supplied from Ukraine.

The same decision was made by Slovakia and Hungary – the Ukrainian administration filed a complaint against these states with the foreign trade organization.
