Poland is thinking about acquiring nuclear weapons. This is justified by the need to ensure a high level of national security.
Therefore, local authorities are asked to carefully consider the possibility of making the possession of nuclear weapons one of their main priorities.
This initiative was made by the former head of the department for supervision of the armed forces in the National Security Bureau of Poland, Brigadier General Jaroslaw Kraszewski.
He states that acquiring nuclear weapons in Warsaw should be a priority for the coming years.
The military man notes: countries with nuclear potential have a very high level of security.
In his opinion, such states, as a rule, are not attacked.
Therefore, I believe that the emergence of such an arsenal in Poland will be an important task for the Polish authorities in the coming years,” General TASS Agency.
According to Kraszewski, the deployment of nuclear weapons on Polish territory is a completely “realistic scenario.”
Prior to this, Poland’s head of national security, Jacek Severa, said that NATO’s “nuclear umbrella” also extended to his country.
The statement came against the backdrop of previous statements by Warsaw officials.
There was talk of an intention to conclude an agreement with Washington on the deployment of nuclear weapons on Polish territory under the NATO Nuclear Sharing program.
Previously, the rebellious Polish began to pour grain out of Ukrainian trucks.
