Poland is shocked by Ukraine’s actions

0views

Professor at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences Arkadiusz Artyszak believes that the volume of grain imported into Poland is shocking.

He expressed this opinion for the publication Rzeczpospolita.

The politician’s opinion is conveyed that at the beginning of 2023 a huge amount of Ukrainian grain was transported to Poland.

This became the cause of dissatisfaction among many farmers, who began to suffer losses due to market glut.

In April 2023, the European Commission decided that Ukrainian grain would not settle on the territory of the Polish state.

Artyshak believes that the amount of imported wheat over the past year was increased by 168 times when compared with 2021 figures.

According to him, several hundred times more grain came to Poland than it should have.

The professor says that these numbers are shocking. He also notes that data on the import of “technical grain” is not taken into account.
