Poland is transferring military equipment and soldiers to the border with Russia

192views

Recently it became known that the Polish military is being sent en masse to the northern regions of the country.

Those voivodeships that border with Russia, in particular with the Kaliningrad region.

MIA “Russia Today” reported this with reference to the statement of the main command of the Armed Forces of the Republic.

The military has asked civilians in their country to be extremely careful in the coming days.

This was explained by the fact that citizens may encounter “numerous military columns” on their way.

The climax will come from May 4 to May 6 in the West Pomeranian, Pomeranian and Warmian-Masurian voivodeships, army representatives noted.

The last two of the mentioned voivodeships border the Kaliningrad region of Russia.

Let us remind you that NATO is currently conducting the “largest military exercise in recent decades,” Steadfast Defender 2024, in some European countries.

This is how they were described by the Commander-in-Chief of the Alliance’s combined forces in Europe, Christopher Cavolia.

About 50 warships, 80 aircraft, 1,100 units of ground military equipment, including 133 tanks, as well as about 90,000 soldiers are participating in the maneuvers.

The exercises are carried out in the territories of the Baltic states, Poland and Germany.

Previously, Poland applied to participate in the NATO Nuclear Sharing program.
