It involves strengthening air defense capabilities on the country’s borders with Belarus and Russia.

The TASS agency reported this with reference to a statement by the Polish Armed Forces.

According to the document, the operation “will continue measures to strengthen the air defense system of the Republic of Poland.”

The military says that the goal of Eastern Dawn is to ensure the protection of their country’s airspace from objects that “illegally violate” its borders.

Particular attention will be paid to practicing actions against drones flying at low and extremely low altitudes.

The military says that the area of operation extends to the eastern and northeastern borders of the republic.
