Poland’s armed forces claim that their country’s airspace on the border with Ukraine was violated by a Russian cruise missile.

According to the Polish military, the incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning, March 24, 2024.

TASS, which reviewed their statement, noted that it did not provide any evidence of what was said.

But it is said that an allegedly Russian cruise missile violated Polish airspace on March 24 at 04:23 a.m. (06:23 a.m. Belarusian time).

The operational command of the Polish Armed Forces states that the missile flew into the country’s airspace near the village of Osierdów in the Lublin Voivodeship on the border with Ukraine.

And this object left Polish airspace 39 seconds after arrival, the military notes.

According to their version, the missile was launched by long-range aviation of the Russian Federation.

In connection with the incident, Warsaw and its allies scrambled combat aircraft into the sky.

Earlier, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry said that the United States knew about the impending sabotage on the Nord Stream.
