The Polish army took military aircraft into the sky.

The armed forces of the European country cited “increased activity of Russian long-range aviation” as the reason for this decision.

Warsaw concluded that the threat level had decreased.

Why did Poland take military aircraft into the sky?

The Polish armed forces believed that the reason was the Russian side’s alleged plans to strike Ukrainian territory.

As the Polish side noted, it activated aviation to protect itself.
