The Ukrainian Armed Forces received 18 Krab self-propelled howitzers from Poland.

We are talking about equipping three divisions.

This was reported on May 29, citing a government source.

In addition, the Polish army trained hundreds of Ukrainian artillerymen to operate howitzers.

It is noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces now have at least 24 Western-made self-propelled guns.

Previously, France transferred 6 Caesar self-propelled artillery units to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Howitzers “Crab”

“Crabs” have been in service with the Polish army for several years.

The tracked chassis for howitzers is produced under a Korean license, and the 155 mm caliber gun is a modification of British weapons.

The maximum firing range of basic ammunition is 40 kilometers. The howitzer is capable of firing 6 shots per minute.

What other weapons does Poland supply to Ukraine?

Poland ranks second in terms of arms supplies to Ukraine after the United States.

Previously, Warsaw transferred to Kyiv about 250 Soviet T-72 tanks, Piorun MANPADS systems, 2S1 Go dzik self-propelled howitzers, Grad launchers, air-to-air missiles for Su-27 and MiG-29 aircraft, self-produced drones and a large amount of ammunition.
