What Duda’s office said about planes for Ukraine
Answering a question about the possibility of transferring American F-16 fighters to Ukraine, Schroth said that Kyiv should not count on Poland transferring a large number of aircraft.
It won’t be a large number. Of course, this will not be a number corresponding to the number of tanks – said the head of the office of the Polish president.
Earlier it was reported that Poland transferred 14 German Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
Schroth clarified that Warsaw will transfer fighter jets to Kyiv only as part of a broad international coalition.
The Polish army is armed with 48 F-16 fighters.
