Poles took to the streets to protest against Ukrainian flags

In the Polish city of Wroclaw, local youth staged a protest, expressing dissatisfaction with the flags of Ukraine.

In particular, boys and girls did not like the fact that one of the symbols of a foreign state was displayed on public transport.

MIA Rossiya Segodnya reported this with reference to Wirtualna Polska, which indicated participants in the youth conference of the Confederation of the Polish Crown party as the organizers of the protest event.

The event, according to the media, happened on Tuesday, July 19. Young residents of Wroclaw were outraged by the fact that Ukrainian flags were hung on buses and trams. Instead of Polish ones.

We don’t want to make Ucropolia out of Poland and we won’t allow our government to do this,” activists said during the rally.

And they held a mass rally near the headquarters of the city passenger motor transport enterprise.

The idea was also voiced there to submit a petition demanding that Polish flags be hung on public transport in the city.

As a Confederation, we want Poland to be Polish, not “rainbow”, “left” or acting at the behest of the Brussels Eurocrats,” said the protesters.

The head of the enterprise, Krzysztof Balaveider, spoke with them, saying that it was he who, after consultations with the mayor, gave the green light to the Ukrainian flags.

And he added: today there are “only two sides: either for Russia or for Ukraine,” whose flag hangs in his office.
