Recently in Poland, a meeting of protesting farmers took place with the head of the country’s government, Donald Tusk.

The dialogue between the politician and representatives of the protest participants was unsuccessful.

As a result, Polish farmers decided to continue protesting.

A corresponding statement was made by Tomasz Obszanski, a representative of the protesting farmers.

What Tusk said at the meeting with farmers

As a representative of the protesting farmers said, during the event, the Prime Minister of Poland admitted to the incompetence of officials and the lack of reports on the current situation.

Donald Tusk stated: his “hands are tied”, so there is no way to take any measures.

After the meeting, Obshansky spoke about the farmers’ plans to continue protests and carry out an action involving blocking roads and some settlements.

Previously, protesting farmers “paralyze Poland” on March 20.
