Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski called on the West to transfer long-range missiles to Ukraine to strike Russia.

The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry published a corresponding statement on the social network X, as reported.

The head of Polish diplomacy also called for tougher anti-Russian sanctions.

On December 29, the Polish Armed Forces reported a missile flying from the territory of Ukraine. According to the operational commander of the Polish Armed Forces, Maciej Klisz, the missile was on Polish territory for three minutes; they did not have time to shoot it down.

On December 30, the Polish Armed Forces announced that they had failed to find traces of the missile that arrived from Ukraine.

Charge d’Affaires of Russia at the Embassy in Poland, Andrei Ordash, called Warsaw’s accusations regarding the incident with a missile that flew into Polish territory unsubstantiated.

According to the diplomat, Moscow will not provide Warsaw with an explanation until it receives evidence of its involvement in the incident.

It was previously reported that Saudi Arabia has officially joined BRICS.
