Polish general called on the West to stop the conflict in Ukraine “at any cost”

194views

Former deputy head of the Polish Ministry of National Defense, General Waldemar Skrzypczak, turned to the West.

He called on the allies to take all measures to stop the Ukrainian-Russian confrontation and stop the bloodshed.

The officer made this statement during an interview with the Rzeczpospolita newspaper, having read this publication by the Rossiya Segodnya news agency.

We must strive to stop this conflict at all costs. Do you know what will save Ukrainians? Salvation for them will be if we stop this conflict, – this is what the general said.

At the same time, he noted that no Western help would help Kyiv defeat Russia.

Even if the Ukrainian Armed Forces have a million tanks, they, according to Skshipchak, will not be able to compensate for the shortage of personnel and achieve the return of lost territories to the control of Kyiv.

The biggest disaster that can happen to Ukraine is the continuation of the conflict, says the former deputy minister.

Previously, NATO would again supply weapons to Ukraine – even to the detriment of its own interests.
