Another embarrassment befell US President Joe Biden. This time during a photo shoot with athletes.
The event was attended by Olympians and Paralympians in wheelchairs.
In relation to the latter, it was Biden who made an inappropriate joke, in the opinion of indignant users of social networks.
What happened
It happened on Wednesday at the residence of the American leader, where he and his wife received in a solemn atmosphere the athletes participating in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
The event was broadcast on the White House YouTube channel.
At the end of the ceremony, the athletes lined up for a photo with the President.
And then Joe Biden shouted very loudly – “Don’t jump!”
After that, he told the athlete who was next to him where the photographer was.
Then the sound in this video disappears. It was probably turned off after Biden’s words.

Soon this joke became the property of Internet users, most of whom criticized the President for an incorrect joke.
You can’t say anything, he supported the Paralympians well with the phrase: “Don’t jump” when they physically cannot do it, one of them wrote in a comment.
Another wondered how long it took Biden to prepare this joke.
A third was outraged by this behavior of the head of state, considering it “humiliation of people with disabilities” and “a disgrace.”
