The President of Kazakhstan made a statement on his Twitter page regarding negotiations with militants and terrorists who organized unrest in the country.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is convinced that there can be no talk of any negotiations, and the terrorists must be destroyed.
The corresponding publication appeared on the Kazakh leader’s page last Friday.
The President noted that, on his instructions, law enforcement agencies will form an investigative team to investigate the causes of the incident and bring the violators to justice.
They beat and killed policemen and young soldiers, set fire to administrative buildings, robbed private homes and shops, killed secular citizens, and raped young women. My firm conviction: no negotiations with terrorists, we must destroy them,” the head of Kazakhstan wrote on his Twitter page.
President Tokayev also noted that the country was faced with “an armed act of aggression.”
The organizers of the unrest are well-trained terrorist groups trained abroad.
In this regard, the head of Kazakhstan decided to launch a counter-terrorism operation.
